Udaipur team bagged the coveted first team position in the recently concluded Kudo (Martial Art) General Championship at the CPS School on 1st January. St Paul's student Murtaza Qutub emerged with a Silver Medal in the individual Under 8 category and will now be a part of the Rajasthan team at the National level championships to be held at Khandala in May this year

Udaipur team bagged the coveted first team position in the recently concluded Kudo (Martial Art) General Championship at the CPS School on 1st January. 171 medals were distributed across 212 fights in the four day training session which ended with a state level championship under the auspices of the Rajasthan Kudo Association. The tight aggresive competition between teams from various districts saw the Udaipur team emerge champion with 104 medals, while Jodhpur secured second place with 40 medals.  The team from Bikaner took the third place with 27 medals. The significant gap between the winning team and the second place is signifies the mettle of the Udaipur team.

Inspector General (Jail) Preeta Bhargava was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremnony and the prize distribution was chaired by Director CPS, Alka Sharma. ADSP (City) Sudhir Joshi was the Special Guest at the event. The closing ceremony was announced open by the chief trainer and President of Rajasthan Kudo Association, Renshi Rajkumar Menaria when he shouted out the Japanese word “Haajime“.

The medals to the winners were distributed by ADSP Sudhir Joshi, Mahendra Nagda and Ramkripa Sharma of the Bar Council, Secy of District Gymnastics Association Anurag Bhatnagar, Social servant Fateh Singh Rathore, Bikers Group Kunal Vyas, Radheshyam Menaria, Harish Ahuja and Fitness trainer Akshay.

Best Fighter award in the Senior Boys category was given to Vikas Godhara of Jodhpur, in the Junior Category to Tanishq Sen of Bikaner. The female Senior Category Best Fighter award was bagged by Reena Panwar and in the junior category to Garvita Agarwal. The program was conducted by Anurag Bhatnagar and National Refree Manju Menaria.
