In the remembrance of Pehlwan Laxman Singh, the 15^th Kushti Dangal Tournament started today at Gandhi Ground. This is a three day tournament where 280 wrestlers, which include 30 women wrestlers, will fight for the titles.

The guests in the inaugural event of the tournament were Rajni Dangi, R. K. Dhabai, Prof. O. P. Gill and other known faces from Udaipur. Sudheer Bedi, President of Udaipur Kushti Sangh welcomed the guests; thereafter the tournament started.

The first match between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, was won by Sukhveer Singh as he defeated Aaditya.

For the first time, women wrestlers had their match in the tournament, where Chandni Gaud from Udaipur won the match.

Well known figures including Shivlal, Bhartiya Kushti Sangh; Ajay Porwal, Councilor; Arjun Rajora, Secretary, Kushti Dangal Sangh; Ganesh Rajora, Treasurer and Ved Prakash Yadav were present in the event.
