4 Udaipur students to represent Indian Handball Team in London
Four students from Udaipur have been selected for representing Indian National Handball Team. The students will be part of Indian team at the International Handball Cup 2018 to be held from 27-29 July.
Four students from Udaipur have been selected for representing Indian National Handball Team. The students will be part of Indian team at the International Handball Cup 2018 to be held from 27-29 July.
The competition will be held at the Handball Olympic Ground Copper Box Arena in London. The four selected students are Dhairya Thapa, Pranjal Kumawat, Morisha Singh Chawara and Koshik Jain.
Dhairya and Pranjal will represent India in the Junior category while Morisha and Koshik will participate in the Senior category. Dhairya and Pranjal are students of Xth grade while Morisha and Koshik recently completed their XIIth grade. All four are/were students of St. Anthony’s Sr. Sec. School.
The students said that they became lovers of the sport ever since they picked it up in VI-grade. The students said that their speed and stamina will be their primary advantage and they have been working hard on it with their regular practice.
Students also said that they were highly elated at the thought of representing Indian team at Olympic Handball ground and wanted to thank everyone who believed in them and supported them.
Students called their parents as their biggest support for helping them both with their studies and sports. They also attributed their success to their school Principal and coaching staff for their success. They had a special mention for their coach Virendra Singh Rawat for all his efforts in moulding them.
