Around 82 players from 15 schools of Udaipur participated in the Free Mind Game Chess Championship started today at Shramjeevi College’s BBM Department.

Judge Gayatri Kataria informed that in the three rounds conducted today, Mohammad Shakib Khan defeated Prabhav Maheshwari, Naman Porwal won over Yugansh Shukla, Gukulji Pillai defeated Bhavesh Sahu and Piyush Goyal defeated Yugansh.

Match between Manish Chandlia vs Nikhil Yadav and Bhavesh Sahu vs Nilesh Kumwat ended in draw which continued till 3^rd round.

Kataria informed, “There are around 12 fide rated players participating in the tournament.”

Tomorrow the next round will be played in the morning at 8. Key competition will be between Govind Chandel and Mudit Babel, Sudhakar and Kailash Soni and Parul Porwal and Nilesh Kumwat.
