Udaipur, January 31, 2025 – Rajasthan beat IPSC Delhi by 177 runs in the league match played yesterday on the second day of the 68th National Cricket Competition being held in the city for 19-year-old school girls. District Education Officer Dr Lokesh Bharti shared that Vrinda Sharma, who remained unbeaten with 101 runs, was declared Player of the Match which was played at the BN College Sports Ground.
A total of 12 league matches were played in the tournament organised by SGFI (School Games Federation of India) and hosted by MGGSS Sundarwas (Mahatma Gandhi Goverment School).
According to additional District Education Officer Murli Dhar Chobisa, Rajasthan won the toss and opted to bat first setting a target of 216 runs for IPSC Delhi. In reply, Delhi's team was bowled out for just 38 runs in 18 overs. Udaipur district player Alpna Rawat took three wickets for just six runs in three overs. Happy Kumari took three wickets for seven runs in three balls, and Kirti Upadhyay took two wickets for 11 runs in four overs.
