Ahead of the T20 Women’s World Cup scheduled to be held in South Africa from 16 February, the Indian Women’s U19 team trounced the England team by 7 wickets in a one-sided final today at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom in South Africa to bring home the first ever U19 T20 World Cup.
The England team were bowled out for a mere 68 runs in 17.1 overs. The Indian team got home losing only 3 wickets, the last of which was Gongadi Trisha who was bowled out for 24 when India needed just 3 runs.
