Aishwarya College Wins Men’s Title in ICT Hockey at MLSU

Udaipur, Dec 11, 2025 - Under the Inter-College Competitions 2025-26 of Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), the Inter-College Hockey (Women/Men) Tournament was conducted under the aegis of the University College of Social Sciences & Humanities. On the third and final day, Aishwarya College, Udaipur, emerged winner in the Men’s category, and Maharana Pratap PG College, Chittorgarh, was the winner in Women’s category.

Maina Gurjar from Maharana Pratap PG College (Women’s category) and Vijay Gameti from Aishwarya College (Men’s category) were given the awards for the Best Player.

Organising Secretary Dr Bhimraj Patel informed that on the third and final day, the results of the Men’s final match were as follows:

The final match was played between Aishwarya College and Government College, Sirohi, in which Aishwarya College won. For the third-place match, Maharana Pratap PG College competed against Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute in which the former emerged victorious.

The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was Prof. CP Jain, Dean, University College of Science. The event was presided over by Prof. Madan Singh Rathore, Dean, University College of Arts, and conducted by Dr Hemraj Singh Chaudhary, Assistant Director, Physical Education, University College of Commerce. On this occasion, University Observers Dr Dipendra Singh Chauhan and Dr Bhavik Paneri, University Selection Committee members Dr  Nahar Singh Jhala and Ghanshyam Khatik, along with team managers, coaches and referees were present.
