As a part of the preparations for the preparations of the All India Inter-University Cross Country race to be organized in the month of October this year, a Sports Board meeting of the Vidyapeeth University was organized today.  In the meet, plans of building a top notch gymnasium for students in Pratap Nagar campus and starting a new Sports Complex were discussed.

The meeting was led by Dr. Prakash Shram, Chairman, Sports Board.  He informed that, “the cross country race, which is to be organized in October 2013 will be attended by 1,500 participants from 300 Universities of India.”

“A Basket Ball court near the New Sports Complex, Mini Stadium at Dabok will also be done.  Along with this, the amount for expenditure on ‘kits’ given to students will also be increased”, He added.

Dr. Dilip Singh briefed the details of the last meeting held.  The meeting was attended by officials including Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Dr. Harish Sharma, Prof. N.S. Rao, Dr.C.P. Agrawal, Dr. Shashi Chittora, Prof. Raj Bahadur Singh Verma, Bhawanipal Singh, Harish Rajora, Rohit Kumawat, Santosh Lamba and other.
