Whilst, the women’s Basketball team of MLSU is all set to create records, the men’s Volleyball team of MLSU faced defeat against MSDU Ajmer in the 5^th round of West Zone Inter University Volleyball Championship, going on at North Gujarat University Patan.

In the game played on 2^nd December the qualifying round was played between MDSU Ajmer and MLSU Udaipur; after a tough fight the match turned in favour of Ajmer with the score of 2-1, thereby ending the pan India quest of team MLSU.

Sources informed that MLSU team have shown a remarkable performance in the West Zone Tournament, yet losing out in 5^th round took away all the chances of team MLSU to participate in the National Level finals to be played later.
