A District Level Inter School Cricket Tournament is organized by Aravali Institute of Technical Studies Udaipur at M.B ‘A’ ground. In the first two days of the tournament, six matches were played; Central Academy Sect-3, Happy Home Senior Secondary and Guru Nanak School Sect-4 won in the matches played on day 1, while MMPS, Alok School and K.V 1 out-performed the odds today.

On the first day of district level tournament, the event was inaugurated by Hemant Dhabhai, Director, Aravali Institute of Technical Studies. This tournament in which around 16 schools of the districts are participating will conclude on 7^th January.

DAY-1 Summary

Among three matches played yesterday, opening match played between Central Academy Sector -3 and Saint Anthony School, Central Academy won the match with 7 wickets; while in second match Happy Home defeated Central Academy (Ambamata) with 6 wickets and in third match Guru Nanak Public School registered a close win of 4 wickets against Central Public School.

For Central Academy Sect-3, Surendra Rawat was given man of the match for his 46 runs contribution, whereas in other two matches played in the day, Dilip and Pawan were awarded Man of the Match, in second and third match respectively.

DAY-2 Summary

Today, on the second day, in the first match played between MMPS and Central Academy (Saradpura), MMPS defending total of 136 runs bowled out Central Academy on initial score of 97 runs; second match was played between Alok School and Scholar Arena in which Alok school defeated opponents by 17 runs, while in last match of the day Kendra Vidhyalaya 1 (K.V. 1 Pratapnagar) won the match against Guru Nanak Public School.

Among the games played throughout the day Faizal of MMPS was given Man of the Match for his knock of 54 runs and 4 wickets for his team, Puran of Alok School awarded the title for his inning of 39 runs, while Ronak of K.V 1 was appreciated for his crucial 56 runs with Man of the Match.
