Udaipur, Oct 25, 2025: The Indian cricket team is touring Australia for a three-match ODI series. Two big players, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have made their comebacks in this series. While Rohit found form in Adelaide, Virat failed in both Perth and Adelaide, getting out for zero in both matches.
Virat’s back-to-back ducks have worried his fans. Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is also concerned. He is worried about the way Kohli is getting out.
Ashwin spoke about Kohli’s dismissal on his YouTube channel. He said, “One thing I’m worried about is that Virat missed the line of the ball. He kept his foot in the line of the delivery. This shows he needs to spend some time at the crease. There’s no reason why he can’t score runs in Sydney, but he must be thinking deeply about how he got out in the last two matches. It won’t be easy, but I hope Virat will bounce back".
Rohit Shines in Adelaide
Virat Kohli has played only 12 balls so far in the series. He faced 8 balls in the first ODI in Perth and only 4 balls in the Adelaide match. While Kohli failed in both games, Rohit Sharma made a strong comeback after scoring just 8 runs in Perth.
Rohit took his time at the start but later played a brilliant innings of 73 runs, helping India post 264 in the first innings. However, Australia chased down the target in 46.2 overs and won the match by 2 wickets. The third and final ODI of the series is being played in Sydney on October 25. At the time of going to press, the Australians were wrapped up for 236 runs in 46.4 overs and the Indian batting innings has just begun.
