Surya and Hardik Fly to UAE, Team India Set to Assemble in Dubai for Asia Cup
The Super Four matches will start on 20 September. Each team will play one match against the others. India and Pakistan can meet again after 14 September in the Super Four. The final will be on 28 September between the top two teams.
Sept 04, 2025: Asia Cup 2025 will start on September 9 in UAE. All 8 teams have finalised their squads. Some teams are already in UAE. Pakistan and Afghanistan came two weeks ago because they are playing a series with UAE.
India players are going to Dubai from different places from September 4 onwards. This time players will travel alone and join the team at different times. Before, India players used to meet in Mumbai and then go together. On Thursday, captain Suryakumar Yadav, coach Gautam Gambhir, and all-rounder Hardik Pandya were seen going to Dubai from Mumbai airport. Vice-captain Shubman Gill will join from Bengaluru.
Indian team practice session
The Indian team will practice on Friday evening at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The session will be from 6 pm to 9 pm. This will be the first full team practice before the tournament. All players were told to reach Dubai by Thursday evening.
India will play its first match in the tournament against UAE on 10 September. Four days later, on 14 September, India will play against Pakistan. On 19 September, India will play its last group match against Oman.
Super Four and Final
