How much salary will Kohli-Rohit get in the BCCI's new contract?
The BCCI has signed new contracts with a total of 34 cricketers.

Udaipur, April 21, 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the list of new central contracts for the 2024-25 season. The contract will be valid from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. The BCCI has signed new contracts with a total of 34 cricketers. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja are placed in the top grade (A+) as before. Shreyas Iyer has been included in Grade B. After some stunning performances in IPL 2025, Ishan Kishan was included in the squad. Meanwhile, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been promoted from 'B' grade to 'A' grade.
Retired but Still in Top Grade
Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja have already retired from the shortest format of cricket. They will only play Tests and ODIs. However, the BCCI has kept all three in the top grades. The salary for each grade, however, remains the same.
Salary Details for Each Grade
- Cricketers in A+ grade will receive ₹7 crore per year.
- Cricketers in A grade will receive ₹5 crore per year.
- Cricketers in B grade will receive ₹3 crore per year.
- Cricketers in C grade will receive ₹1 crore per year.
