Selection process of University Team for a national level Boxing tournament at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh started today at M.B. Ground; trial matches were played in various weight categories; the shortlisted players will form team MLSU.

In a day long Boxing Trial at Maharna Sanga Boxing Centre in M.B. College ground, team selection started. Trial or practice matches were played in boys’ and girls’ respectively, in accordance with weight categories. Selected players will participate in university camp starting from 17^th December.

Hemraj Singh, Organizing Secretary informed that on the basis of performance in the trial matches, players will be promoted to the University camp starting from next week to continue till 25^th Dec.

Singh further added that soon after completion of University Camp, list of selected players will be published. Selection will be made on the basis of overall performance of players in both men and women groups, whereby one player from each weight category will collectively form University Team.
