Nov 19, 2025 - Brazil played an international friendly match to prepare for the World Cup. After beating Senegal 2-0 in their previous game, Brazil drew 1-1 with Tunisia on Tuesday night. Brazil had a good chance to win, but Lucas Paqueta missed a penalty, and the team could not score the winning goal. Other chances were also missed.

Brazil controlled the match from the start in Lille, France, with more attack and possession. However, the team was not in rhythm. Their attacks were often aimless and the players lacked coordination.

Incorrect passes repeatedly broke the flow of the attack and Brazil could not score. Tunisia took advantage of this and tried a counter-attack. In the 23rd minute, Hazem Mastouri scored a brilliant goal from a counter-attack, giving Tunisia the lead.

After conceding a goal, Brazil tried to fight back. They attacked several times, putting pressure on Tunisia. In the last minute of the first half, Tunisia gave Brazil a penalty. Estevao scored with a great shot, equalising the match. This was Estevao’s fourth goal in four matches for Brazil. The first half ended 1-1.

After the break, Brazil played in an organised and aggressive way. They attacked Tunisia’s defence repeatedly but could not score. Tunisia relied on counter-attacks and created some chances, but they also failed to score.

Brazil had another opportunity to take the lead with a penalty in the 76th minute. However, Lucas Paqueta missed the spot-kick. This was the key moment in the match and both teams left the field with a 1-1 draw.
