The Canoe Polo Tournament organized by Rajasthan Kayaking and Canoeing Association (RKCA) has been postponed due to security reasons. The match was first scheduled on 14th Aug but now the event will be organized on 15th August. In this tournament, 5 teams including Rajasthan, Delhi, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir have arrived. The formal inauguration and first match will be played on Independence Day.

Balbeer Singh Kushwaha, Secretary, RKCA, informed that tournament has been re-scheduled considering the security reasons and delayed arrival of other participating teams. In the tournament, 5 teams have reached Udaipur and started their practice sessions at Fatehsagar Pal. Nearly 4 more teams are expected to reach today evening.

Kushwaha added that formal opening and first match will be played on 15^th August from 1 PM onwards, while closing ceremony would be on 16^th August.
