The International Cricket Council (ICC) has instructed the Pakistan Cricket Board to cancel the matches of the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in venues that are in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). Accordingly, the matches to be held at Hunza, Muzaffarabad and Skardu are cancelled.
Accodring to media reports, the ICC had yet not finalised the schedule and PCB made the tournament schedule public. As per sources, the BCCI President, Jayesh Shah has raised strong objections to PCB promoting Champions Trophy in POK cities and has raised his concerns over PCB sharing a schedule, even before it has been confirmed by the ICC.
