The LNJ Bhilwara FIDE Rating Chess Championship, organized by Chess Trust of India concluded on 13^th October at Bhandari Darshak Mandap.

Narendra Mudgal, secretary National Chess Trust of India informed that after playing 9 rounds, Grand Master from Tamil Nadu R.R Laxman and Maharashtra’s Umesh Lalwani were announced as winners of category A and B, respectively.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Prakash Maheshwari, K.B Khatod and Yogendra Rathore. The winners were as follows:

Category A- R.R Laxman, Samir Kathmali, Kantilal Dave, Santosh Kumar Sinha, Rakesh Kulkarni, Amit Doshi, Rupesh Bhogle, Gaurav Kumar, B.S Magi, Shrikant K.

Cateogry B- Umesh lalwani, Anshu Pathak, Shushant Manuja, Shatrughna Kaushik, Yash Hari Dixit, Dhruvik Shah, Samuddhin Baig, Vikram Mukhija, Falgun Purohit, Rajendra Chawda.

The first 50 winners of both the categories were awarded with total Rs. 5 Lac cash and trophies. Likewise, the winners of category A were:

Under 9 -Arun Kataria and Nirwahan Badhjatiya and Pruthviya Gupta.

Under 15 -Bhavesh Pandiyar and Uttamprakash Sharma and Tinaz Mistri.

Rajasthan Best Boy- Sanket Agrawal and Rajasthan Best Girl- Akshita Jain

Under 9 Best School- St. Anthon’s Hiran Magri and St. Anthony’s Balicha

Under 15 Best School- St. Paul’s, VKV Rishabhdeo and Kendriya Vidyalaya
