At the First Thali Seva Sangh FIDE Rating Chess Competition held at Ahmedabad, the players of Chess in Lakecity grabbed various positions and brought laurels.

Chess in Lakecity President Rajeev Bhardwaj informed that Udaipur’s Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat defeated Rajasthan’s player and National Champion Kantilal Dave in the 9^th round and stood on the 11^th position along with Dhruv Dak on 30^th rank.

The other winners of Best Rajasthan categories were Divyanshu Babel, Chinmay Jain, Arun Kataria who received cash prize, trophy and certificates.

Secretary Vikas Sahu said that two other players of the city Gayatri Kataria and Vedant Sharma achieved FIDE Rating that will be listed in the upcoming World Chess Federation.

Few other players including Vaibhav Agrawal, Meet Mehta, Shubham Odh, Bhavesh Pandiyar, gautam Kataria, Kunal Chabbra, Alpesh Patni and Prakhar Pathak gave commendable performance.
