The District Level Open Chess tournament concluded today, with Mudit Babel taking home the honors. Managin a stunning victory, he remained unbeaten with 9 points. Babel, a FEDE rated player was contesting under the ‘Senior’ age group.

Vikas Sahu, coach, coordinator and judge of the tournament informed that in the last round Mudit Babel defeated Suraj Sahu, Arpita Jain and Manthan Chittora. Suraj Sahu of Mavli remained runner up with 7.5 points.
