In the ongoing Sindhi community cricket tournament, Jhulelal Premier League, at BN College ‘A’ Ground, 3 matches were played today.

First match was played between Surrey Club and Team Bhopalpura, second match was played between Jhulelal Club and Saint Hirdaram Club while third match was played between Bratt Club and Team Jawahar Nagar.

In the first match today, Team Bhopalpura won the toss and gave a target of 130 runs. Surrey Club on the other hand could make 100 runs only and lost the match. From team Bhopalpura, Sunil Hiranandani contributed 23 runs while batting and also took 3 wickets for his team. For his contribution, Sunil was declared Man of the Match.

In the second match, Jhulelal club won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 86 runs which Saint Hirdaram Club made easily with the help of a smashing innings by Mohit Wadhwani (in photo above). In his innings, Mohit hit three 4s and three huge 6s and scored 52 runs in just 21 balls. Prior to this, he also took 3 wickets in 6 overs of balling spell.

Team Jawahar Nagar won the third match against Bratts Club. Bratts club won the toss and batted first. It gave a target of 89 runs which Team Jawahar Nagar achieved in just 14 overs. From Jawahar Nagar, Nitin Nebhnani and Satish took 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Nitin also contributed 28 runs in his batting innings and was awarded Man of the Match.
