The 7 days cricket mania ended today with a grand victory by the champions of the Tournament Central Public School (CPS) beating Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS)by 7 wickets.

The day was pretty good and so was the pitch of Shikarbadi, CPS won the toss and chose to field. MMPS started good by Kinchit Nagar’s 10 runs in 14 balls but falls of wickets smashed the strong batting line. Including Kinchit all top strikers, Himanshu (6 runs), Hanumant (43 runs), Yogesh (28) and Himanshu K (9) were caught out. Vismay was given runout in 10 runs and Bhavya remained on pitch, not out. Giving the target of 120 runs to win for CPS. CPS bowler Arun Lalpura was the highest wicket taker with 3 wickets in 4 overs. With five classic 4s CPS’s opener Bharat made 24 runs in 16 balls giving a superb start to the team. However, Dharmik was not so lucky today, his early mishap in just 6 runs weakend the team spirit to a bit and another fall of wicket came where C.L. Bharat too was given runout on 24 runs. The match took a real turn when winning duo Bhavesh and Bharat made all right strokes, bhavesh scored 16 runs and Bharat bombarded four 6s and two 4s. CPS won the CPSt20 and received the cash amount of Rs. 21,000 and a trophy.

MMPS got the second prize of Rs. 18000/- and trophy …… For 3 rd place – CPS Jr. VS St. Paul’s CPS Jr. won the toss and elected to bat first. Say it a wrong decision or destiny but none of the CPS jr. player could stand long in front of superb balling by St. Paul’s. From CPS Jr. the top scorer of the day was Hasnain (26 runs). The whole team got out in 9 th over with only 69 runs and extra runs giving the target of 75 runs to St. Paul’s . It was a ballers day out for St. Paul’s, Sudhir, Dhruv, Nishant, Chirag, Hiren, Bilal and Karni all took one wicket each. St. Paul’s needed to make 75 runs in 20 overs, The opener Bilal didn’t made any wonder this time but Nishant and Chirag made a blazing inning and remained not out. St. Paul’s secured 3rd place with a cash prize of – Rs. 15,000 and a trophy while CPS Jr. received the Cash prize of 15000 and a trophy. ……. Ending Ceremony and Best Players of Tournaments. The Player of The Tournament – Nishant (St. Paul’s). Best Baller – Chirag Nahar (St. Paul’s), he took 10 wickets in whole tournament.
