Under – 19 State Level Cricket Championship at Kendriya Vidhyalaya No. 1 was green signaled by Hari Prasad Sharma, S.P. Udaipur. The opening was directed by Mr. J. M. Rawat, Deputy – Commissioner, Kandriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jaipur.

On the occasion, Principal of K.V, Mr. J. S. Mehta informed,”Four teams have been selected from the league matches played today”.

In the inaugural match, K.V-1 of Udaipur beat Mount Abu by 28 runs and in another match that took place at C.T.A.E. ground, K.V-6, Jaipur defeated K.V-2, Udaipur. Event Organizing Secretary, Sharikh Sheikh, told about the results of other two matches that took place on B.N. College grounds. At B.N. College ground ‘A’, K.V-1 AFS, Jodhpur defeated K.V-3, Jaipur and in another match at B.N. College ground ‘B’, K.V-1, Bikaner won against K.V, Jaipur.

The finals will be played on 26^th August and from there best 20 players will be chosen for additional coaching and finally out of 20, 16 will be sent to represent Rajasthan in national level matches to be held in Lucknow from 16-21^st October.
