Cycle Race Championship on 8 April

Mewar Cycling Club under the aegis of Thakur Prithvi Raj Singh Gehlot Society is organizing a Cycle Race on Sunday, 8 April to promote cycling as a mode of transport to save environment and also to encourage cycling as a sport.

The participants between 14 to 18 years age group can participate in the competition after paying Rs 50 as registration fees. The participants are requested to wear proper gear including helmet.

Mewar Cycling Club under the aegis of Thakur Prithvi Raj Singh Gehlot Society is organizing a Cycle Race on Sunday, 8 April to promote cycling as a mode of transport to save environment and also to encourage cycling as a sport.

The participants between 14 to 18 years age group can participate in the competition after paying Rs 50 as registration fees. The participants are requested to wear proper gear including helmet.

The race will start at 5 pm on Sunday from Rajiv Gandhi Park at Rani Road and covering a distance of11 Km it will come to an end at the same point. The event will followed by prize distribution ceremony.

Winners will be awarded with Rs. 5100 cash including a trophy and a bicycle; the cyclist standing second will get Rs 2100 with trophy and a helmet, and the third winner will win Rs. 1100 with trophy and cycling costumes. Besides these prizes Rs.300 will be awarded to each of the racer who stands from 4th to 20th position in the race.

Manjeet Singh, Director, Mewar Cycling Club said, “Our motive is to create interest for cycling among youth. We will organize more such events in years to come for Sub Junior, Junior and Senior categories.”
