Udaipur, Dec 31, 2025: India Women registered a strong win against Sri Lanka in the fifth and final T20I of the five-match series. The match was played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on December 30. India put in a solid performance and won the game by 15 runs.

After the win, the focus was on star all-rounder Deepti Sharma. With one wicket in the match, Deepti went past Megan Schutt and became the highest wicket-taker in Women’s T20I history. She broke the world record that she had earlier equalled in the third T20I of the series.
