Khushti Dangal, the traditional Indian wrestling competition concluded last week in Udaipur. The voracious fight for the title of “Viraat Bharat Kesari” was bagged by Vikrant, a Delhi based wrestler who won the title by defeating Surjeet from Haryana, thereby getting maximum number of points.

The jam-packed arena for the finals was the Chatr Bhuj Vyayamshala and this event was organized by Rajiv Gandhi Dangal Samiti.

Hundreds of wrestlers from many parts of the country participated in this 3 day competition. Wrestlers from Bhilwara dominated in many categories, though the title of Rajasthan Viraat Kesari was conquered by wrestlers from Bharatpur.

The Chief Guest at the concluding day’s proceedings were Manohar Singh Krishnawat, Prakash Choudhary (MP- Badi Sadri) and former MP Trilok Purbia.
