People interested in gun or rifle shooting can now rejoice as Khelgaon of Udaipur has come up with a digital shooting range. The shooting range will be inaugurated by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today evening at 5:30.

Shooters can avail the benefit of digital shooting facilities which are at par with international standards. As per District Sports Officer Lalit Singh Jhala, this digital shooting range is the first of its kind in the region. Jaipur has one shooting range which is in Jagatpura where all shooters practice and undergo training as well. Even BN College has a private shooting range.

This digital shooting range can accommodate 20 shooters at a time. The range is equipped with 6 digital targets and 14 general targets. With Udaipur city having the only digital shooting range, international shooters Apurvi Chandela, Mahavir Singh and many other shooters will now be seen practicing in Khelgaon.

2 coaches (male and female) of national level have been appointed for providing training to the candidates. Training time in Khelgaon will be 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Those willing to opt for coaching can register themselves with the Khelgaon Society Secretary. Coaching fee is yet to be decided.
