Rajasthan Kayaking & Canoeing Association’s secretary RK Dhabhai informed that the Indian team will participate in the Asian canoe sprint and dragon boat competition in Indonesia from 4th to 8th November in which Asian qualifiers will be selected for 2016 Rio Olympics.
President of the association, Pradeep Paliwal said that this is a great achievement for Rajasthan. The sport which started in 2012 in Udaipur as a national competition has seen team of Rajasthan participating in the subsequent years.
The members of the association including Dr. Madaransingh Rathore, Chandragupta Chauhan, Mukesh Pimplakar, Trainer Deepak Gupta, District Sport Officer Lalit Singh Jhala, Vikram Singh Chandala, Harish Paliwal, Mahaveer Singh Parihar, Trilok Vaishnav, etc. congratulated Dilip Singh.
