A four day district level athletics tournament started at Maharana Bhupal Stadium on Sunday 28^th Sep. Hundreds of government and private schools from all over the district are participating in this event.

According to sources, the 59^th district level tournament is organized by Government School, Hiran Magri in association with Narayan Seva Sansthan.

The event includes 100, 200 and 1500 meter race, long jump and short jump. Participants both boys and girls are divided under-17 and under-19 categories.

The tournament was inaugurated by L.N Mantri, Additional Commissioner Excise Department.

Around 350 student participant from 70 schools are taking part in this tournament. On the second day, many events including 100m, 200m, 1500m, long jump, triple jump, hammer throw etc took place.
