More than 100 students from district participated in the badminton championship that concluded today at Luv Kush Stadium. The winners include 16 girls and 25 boys who will be honored on 9 Sept in a ceremony at Luv Kush Stadium.

All matches were played under different age groups viz. under 14, under 15, under 21 and above 21.

According to Sudhir Bakshi, Secretary of Udaipur Badminton Association, these tournaments are being organized for the last 40 years and every year more and more young players are showing their interest. Some of the selected players like Jitendra Jain and Rajat Rathod reached national level too.
