District Level Swimming Competition Concludes
Dai Ji Jodh Singh Memorial District Swimming Competition was organized at B.N. Physical Training Center by District Swimming Association. Around 415 athletes under various age categories participated in the event, whereas a special round of Veteran Swimmers was also held.

The swimming competition divided into sub categories according to the gender and age group of participants. Events of 25 and 50 meters race with and without floaters were held for the age group of 5-8 years, while in 9-10 years group 50 meters back and breast stroke was the swimming style. Thereafter events of 50 meter butter fly and Front Stroke was held for the 11-12 years group.
According to Dilip Singh Chouhan, Coach of District Swimming Association, around 35 swimmers shortlisted on basis of winning are considered to be selected for the Inter-District Swimming Competition to be held at Saint Xavier’s College in Jaipur from 4th June this year.
Winners of District Swimming Competitions under respective sub groups are:
Boys Group:
5-6 years: Krishan Vaishnav (1st) and Kirtiraj Singh (2nd)
7-8 years: Manu Singhal (1st)
9-10 years: Tritank (1st) and Tritansh Khandelwal (2nd)
11-12 years: Divya Singh (1st)
Girls Group:
5-6 years: Yoshita Vyas (1st)
7-8 years: Sneh Pipalkar (1st) and Nilam Vyas (2nd)
9-10 years: Atmika Gupta (1st)
11-12 years: Vasundhra Singh (1st), Guravi Singhvi (2nd) and Chitrangi Dashora (3rd)
