Divyansh Soni won the award of ‘Strongman of Udaipur’ while Rajkumari Yadav got the honor of ‘Strongwoman of Udaipur’ in a recently held District Level Senior Powerlifting tournament at Luv Kush Stadium.

The prize distribution was done by chief guest Ajay Porwal, Corporator, whereas special guest of the event was Bhushan Shrimali, social worker. The program was headed by Vinod Sahu, secretary of Rajasthan Power Lifting Association. Prize distribution ceremony was coordinated by Anup Bhatnagar (Dist. secretary) and Amrit Kalyani (coach).

On the occasion, an electronic weighing machine was gifted to power lifters of Udaipur by Pramod Khabya, chief secretary of District Congress.

The tournament was conducted in different weight groups including 59, 66, 74, 83, 93, 105, 120, 47, 57, 63, 72 and 84 kgs.

Team selection will be done on the basis of this tournament and the select contenders will take part in the 34^th State level power lifting tournament which is going to be held in Sri Ganganagar from 20th-22th June.
