February 21, 2026: FC Goa delivered a confident and strong performance away from home as they defeated Mohammedan SC 2–0 in Matchweek 2 of the Indian Super League. Goa scored early in the match and stayed in control until the final whistle.

Goa took the lead in just the 4th minute. Pol Moreno finished a well-planned attacking move and calmly scored to give his team an early advantage. The quick goal gave Goa confidence and made things difficult for Mohammedan SC. The home side struggled to keep the ball and build attacks in the early minutes.

Goa continued to attack and looked more organised on the field. Their pressure paid off again in the 32nd minute when the referee awarded them a penalty after a foul inside the box. Dejan Drazic stepped up and scored from the penalty spot. His calm finish made it 2–0 and gave Goa full control before halftime.

Goa Stay Solid in Second Half

In the second half, FC Goa focused on keeping their shape and controlling possession. They did not rush forward but played smart football. Mohammedan SC tried to push ahead and create chances, but Goa’s defence stayed strong and disciplined.

The home team made a few substitutions to bring fresh energy and improve their attack. They showed effort and tried to move the ball quickly, but they could not break through Goa’s well-organised defence. Clear scoring chances were limited as Goa’s midfield and backline worked together well.

In the end, FC Goa managed the game comfortably and secured an important 2–0 win. Their early goals and strong defence helped them take all three points from the match.
