With the beginning of the Cricket season, Udaipur is ready to host the awaited clash between the current Ranji Champions Rajasthan and former Ranji champions Karnataka.

Both the teams have reached Udaipur today. Team Rajasthan net practised at the lush green ground of Field Club while team Karnataka will have its practice session tomorrow.

The match will be played at the Field Club Cricket ground from 3^rd to 6^th November 2011. The organising committee of UDCA has completed all the preparations required to conduct the match.

According to Harish Joshi, Manager of Rajasthan team, “Both the teams comprise of leading cricket players from Indian team. Aakash Chopra -former Indian Test opener, Hrishikesh Kanitkar – former Indian cricket player are representing the Rajasthan Ranji team along with young sensations of Udaipur, Ashok Menaria, Vineet Saxena, Pankaj Singh and last year’s star player Deepak Chahar who played a major role in making Rajasthan Victorious last year.

Karnataka on other side is represented by current International stars like Robin Utthapa, Vinay Kumar, Abhimanyu Mithun and other cricketers.

The organising committee of UDCA that has successfully hosted many Ranji Trophy matches and other big matches at Udaipur have worked very hard in preparing and maintaining the Field Club Cricket ground that seems to be in excellent condition for this important match.

Udaipurites, be prepare to witness some of the best cricketing talents of India and enjoy the game.
