Shalom Enterprises is organizing ‘5 A Side Futta’ a first of its kind 3 days Five-a-Side open Football competition in Udaipur from 14 ^th June 2012 at Shikarbadi. Five-a-side football is a variation of Association Football in which each team has five to nine players rather than the usual eleven per side. Shalom Enterprises, managed by Jinu K Samuel is a travel-based company and has taken up this initiative of popularizing the sport of Football in the city. “Football is played in various parts of the city. Though the popularity is nowhere near Cricket but people who love the game play it with zeal. Not many tournaments of football are happening in the city and I felt the need to bring the players together and also give a platform to connect, share and show their skills on the field. Our vision is to take this event to a higher scale in the coming future”, said Jinu, a football lover himself. ‘5 A Side Futta’ is open for all ages and anyone can register their teams for the tournament. “This concept of 5 A Side Football is very new to the city and I am sure the games will be full of energy and enthusiasm”, added Jinu. The tournament will be played between 7-11pm from 14 ^th June till 16 ^th June at Hotel Shikarbadi.
