Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr Closing in on €35M Deal to Sign Bundesliga Superstar

Aug 11, 2025: Al-Nassr has signed Kingsley Coman to join Cristiano Ronaldo and the team this summer for €35 million. The Saudi Pro League club wanted to complete the deal for the French player before the 2025-26 season starts. Journalist Florian Plettenberg had earlier reported that Bayern Munich is now willing to sell Coman to Al-Nassr this summer, as talk reached an advanced stage. The Saudi club had offered €35 million, and the negotiations are done, with the football superstart making his move from Bayern Munich to Al Nassr.

Al-Nassr Strengthens Squad

Al-Nassr is improving their team this summer after Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus replaced Stefano Pioli. The club lost their record signing Jhon Duran, who went on loan to Turkey, so they need new attacking players. Cristiano Ronaldo’s team signed Joao Felix to add more attacking power, but they are not finished yet. Kingsley Coman agreed verbally to join the Saudi club with a contract worth over €20 million per year.

Bayern Munich decided to sell the 29-year-old forward after signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool earlier this summer. Once the deal is complete, Coman will join French players Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Moussa Diaby, and other stars in the Saudi league. Coman played 45 matches for Bayern in the 2024-25 season and helped them win the Bundesliga title.

Al-Nassr Signs Experienced Spanish Defender

Al-Nassr signed Spanish defender Iñigo Martínez on a permanent deal from Barcelona. The 34-year-old joined as a free agent after two seasons with Barcelona. He became the club’s latest summer signing. Martínez used a clause in his Barcelona contract to cancel it early. His contract was due to end in 2026. He signed a one-year deal with Al-Nassr, with an option for one more year.

Al-Nassr tried to sign David Hancko this summer, but he chose to join Atletico Madrid. Then the club focused on Martínez, who had a great 2024-25 season with Barcelona. The veteran defender played 71 games for Barcelona over two seasons and won three major trophies with the club.
