Global Youth Club Udaipur had organized a football tournament for the active participation of members in sports field. It was a two-Day event organized in two session matches on May 19^th 2013, while Semi-Final & Finals were held on May 26^th, 2013.

Club Secretary, Ankit Pachauri informed that there were 8 Teams in Total, among which Red Royals, under the captainship of Shivanshu Pandey won the tournament by winning against Wave Strikers in the final match by 4-0 score & won the Cash Prize of Rupees 501/-.

Medals were provided to the players of runner up team. Other teams in the tournament were, 3-Strikers (Captain -Sikander Khan), Gladiators (Captain-Lakshya Sukheja), Young Strikers (Captain – Tanuj Jain), Destroyers (Captain -Rajat Jha), G-Rockers (Captain-Neil) and Chelsi UDR (Captain -Saif).

Jayant Pancholi (Sports Incharge) said that this type of events would help the youth to actively participate in sports and engage in physical fitness program regularly. Shivanshu Pandey was awarded the Footballer of the tournament for striking maximum goals.

Priyank Agrawal – Chairman, GYC & Ayush Gupta, Director GYC applauded the managing team of the club for their outstanding effort for the successful tournament. Ayush Gupta told that this tournament had not been possible without the co-operation of the GYC associates including, Chirag Pandya, Nikhil Sharma, Toushik Audichya, Apurv Dixit and Saurabh Audichya. The Club would be organizing many such events to bring forth the youth power.
