Four Udaipur Students Selected for SGFI Swimming Championship
Gaurang Paliwal, Neenv Chaudhary, Yatharth Sukhwal and Govind Singh excelled in the CBSEWSO selection camp held in the city
Udaipur, Nov 27, 2025 - Udaipur’s Gaurang Paliwal, Neenv Chaudhary, Yatharth Sukhwal and Govind Singh have been selected for national-level swimming competition during a selection camp organised by the CBSEWSO. The camp for swimming and diving in the U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories for the academic session 2025-26 was conducted at Balaji Swimming Pool near Rampura Chauraha in Udaipur.
Coaches Anil Kumawat, Sandeep Soni and Piyush Sukhwal congratulated the selected players and said this achievement is the result of the their hard work, discipline and consistent practice.
Dr Rishika Sukhwal, Director of Balaji Swimming Pool, shared that the enthusiasm for swimming among Udaipur’s youngsters is steadily increasing, and this selection is a proud moment for the city. She added that the institution aims to prepare children to compete at the international level, for which modern facilities and expert training are continuously being provided.
These selected players will now represent Udaipur and Rajasthan at the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Swimming and Diving Championship to be held at Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi.
