The 57^th District Level Girl’s Handball and Volleyball tournament has started from today at Gandhi Ground. 39 teams from two age groups, viz. Under-17 and Under-19 are taking part in the tournament, which will be continuing till 4^th September.

The tournament, which was inaugurated by Prashant Agrawal of Narayan Seva Sansthan is organized by the Government Middle School, Dewali.

According to Kiran Kotia, coordinator of the event, everyday there will be 8-8 knockout matches in Volleyball and Handball in two different sessions.

In Handball, there are 9 teams in Under-17 and 10 teams in Under-19, while in Volleyball there are 10-10 teams in both the above mentioned age groups.

432 girls from various schools of Udaipur are taking part in this tournament.
