Swimming sensation from Udaipur, Gaurvi Singhvi added yet another feather into her cap by securing 3rd position in first Sea Swimming championship. Gaurvi secured the third position in under-16 category.

This was the first Sea swimming championship and was organised by Sindhudurg District Amateur Aquatic Association at Sindhu Durg, recognised by Swimming Federation of India. Gaurvi secured the third prize clocking 3kms in 23 minutes. Swimmers from Karnataka and Pune took first and second place respectively.

A total of 850 participants took part in the sea swimming competition.
