GT bowlers set the tone early

The foundation of Gujarat’s victory was laid by their pace attack, which struck early and put KKR under immediate pressure. Kagiso Rabada led the charge with impressive figures of 3/29, while Mohammed Siraj supported him well with 2/23. Both bowlers used movement and disciplined lengths to break through the top order quickly. The early collapse saw Ajinkya Rahane dismissed for a duck, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Tim Seifert also failed to contribute, leaving KKR in deep trouble at 37/3 inside the powerplay.
