Udaipur scored a Hat-trick of wins today in the ICAI Adarsh Cup 20-20 Tournament. Chasing Panipats score of 129/6, Udaipur reached the score after losing just one wicket; cementing its position for the Semi Finals.  CA Mohit was adjudged the Man of the Match.

In the other matches played at the Field Club today, Pune beat Agra by 7 wickets and Bhopal beat Alwar by 9 wickets. Interestingly, all the three losing teams had won the toss and elected to bat; arguably giving a statistic assessment to the Field Club pitch.

The other three matches played at the MB College “A” ground today, saw Faridabad, Varanasi and Surat emerging winners, beating Jamnagar, Jodhpur and Indore respectively.

The first Semi Final will start at 8:30 am on Sunday, December 11 at the Field Club ground and will see Udaipur challenging Surat for the Finals slot, whereas in the second Semi Final, which will be played at the MB College “A” ground simultaneously, will feature Pune and Bhopal vying for the Finals spot.

The Final will be played at the Field Club ground at 01:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, and will be followed by the Prize distribution ceremony.  Mahendra Sharma, BCCI Treasurer and member of the Rajasthan Cricket Association and CA L.S. Nalwaya will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.
