Rohtak’s daughter, Shefali Verma, played brilliantly in the final and helped the team win with her 87-run knock. Since the victory, celebrations have been going on in Rohtak. Shefali Verma won hearts with her brilliant batting in the Women's Cricket World Cup final. Although she didn’t perform much in the semi-final against Australia, she made a strong comeback in the final by scoring 87 runs and taking two wickets. Her performance surprised everyone. The whole of Rohtak is celebrating her success. Her family is receiving many congratulatory messages. Shefali’s mother is praying in the temple at home and thanking God, while the sound of drums continues outside their house.

Family Happy with Shefali’s Performance

Shefali Verma’s mother, Parveen, is very happy with her daughter’s achievement. She said that she was worried before the match, as Shefali had not performed well in the semi-final. But she kept praying to God for a good performance and for India’s victory. Parveen said, “God heard my prayers. Shefali played brilliantly and won everyone’s hearts.” The family said they are very proud of her. Even though Shefali did not score a century, her 87-run innings felt no less than a hundred. After the match, they went to the Kuldevi temple to thank God for Shefali’s success.

Relatives Express Pride

Shefali’s aunt and uncle also expressed their happiness. They said, “We knew Shefali would perform well in the final and make the country proud. Shefali is no less than a son to us.”
