India Announces White-Ball Squad for Australia Tour: Bharti Fulmali In, Harleen Deol Out
India have named their ODI and T20I squads for the Australia tour, recalling Bharti Fulmali for the first time since 2019. Meanwhile, Harleen Deol has not been included in the T20I squad, despite being in strong form.
Udaypur, January 17, 2026: Team India have announced their ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming tour of Australia. This series is very important as the current ODI champions begin their preparation for the T20 World Cup, which will start in June 2026. Keeping this in mind, the team management has taken a big decision by recalling Bharti Fulmali to the national team after nearly five years.
The 31-year-old has impressed with her performances in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), which helped her earn another chance at the international level. The Amravati-born batter has played two T20Is so far, scoring 23 runs. In the WPL, she scored 289 runs in 13 matches at a strong strike rate of 162.85. She is expected to add strength to the team, especially in finishing matches.
Shreyanka, Kashvee Picked; Harleen Misses Out in T20Is
Shreyanka Patil has been selected for the T20I series after returning to professional cricket following a 14-month injury break. However, Harleen Deol has not been included in the T20I squad, despite her recent strong performances.
In the ODI squad, Vaishnavi Sharma and G Kamalini have received their first call-up to the national team. Kashvee Gautam has also been included in the ODI side, replacing Arundhati Reddy. Spinner Radha Yadav has been dropped from both the ODI and T20I squads.
