But one player has a record that is very surprising. Whenever he has scored a century against SENA countries, India has never won the match.

Yes, this is true. The player is Rishabh Pant. Pant has scored eight centuries in his Test career. Of these, six centuries came against SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia). Sadly, in all these six matches, India lost five times and one match ended in a draw.

Pant's Records

Pant scored 114 runs against England at Kennington Oval in 2018. India lost that Test match. In 2019, he scored an unbeaten 159 against Australia in the Sydney Test. That match ended in a draw.

In 2022, he scored an unbeaten 100 against South Africa in the Cape Town Test. India lost that match too. Later in 2022, Pant scored 146 runs against England in Birmingham, but India still could not win the match.
