Indian Team Bags Multiple Honors in Asian Powerlifting
The last day of the Asian Powerlifting Championship saw some marvelous performances by the participants and laurels to the Indian team in various categories.
Vinod Sahu, the Secretary of the Organising Committee informed that the Indian contingent bagged first place in various categories, which included the Women’s Junior Category, Women’s Sub-Junior Category, Men’s Master Category and Women’s Master Category.

Men’s Senior Category: First place to Kazakhstan; Second place to Indonesia
Women’s Senior Category: First place to Kazakhstan; Second place to India
Men’s Junior Category: First place to Kazakhstan; Second place to India
Women’s Junior Category: First place to India; Second place to Uzbekistan
Men’s Sub-Junior Category: First place to Afghanistan; Second place to Iraq
Women’s Sub-Junior Category: First place to India; Second place to Taiwan
Men’s Master Category: First place to India; Second place to Japan
Women’s Master Category: First place to India; Second place to Japan
