Following the year round sports activities at MLSU, an Inter Collegiate Power & Weight Lifting and Body Building Championship is organised from 11^th Dec; the two day tournament will be hosted at Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute, Badgaon.

The tournament will be conducted in both Men and Women categories, around 196 affiliated colleges were invited and more than 40 have already sent their confirmation of participation. The championship will be inaugurated by Prof. Mahip Bhatnagar, Dean, UCST.

According to Shail Singh Solanki, Organising Secretary, all games have been sub-divided into respective weight category, weight lifting has 8 groups in Men and 7 in Women, while Power Lifting is classified in 7 groups for Men and 6 for Women; finally Body Building which would be for Men only, is divided in 8 categories.

The tournament is scheduled over 2 days, where closing ceremony and award function would be on 12^th December from 4.30 pm. Teams from Banswara, Gatod, Kapasan, Rajsamand and other nearby districts are expected to join in Udaipur for the tournament.
