More than 1200 Sportsmen from all over the country will participate in the Inter-University Cross Country (Men/Women) competition to be held on 10^th November.

The competition is being organized by Janaradan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth(JRNRV).

A meeting towards preparations and arrangement for the event was held today at Administrative office of Vidyapeeth under the chair of Prof. Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor, JRNRV. Teams from 120 Universities of India have already applied for the competition.

Dilip Singh Chouhan, Organizing Secretary has informed that it is for the first time that the Indian University Association has given an opportunity to Vidyapeeth to host the program. Sports Board of JRNRV will conduct the cross country competition.

Three routes that have been proposed for the event are Luv Kush Indoor Stadium to Lake Fateh Sagar; Pratap Nagar to Dabok and Pratap Nagar to Amberi, of which one route will be finalized after permission from the City Administration.

A meeting of various committees was held to plan out the successful execution of the event. Representatives from the Welcome committee, Technical, Lodging, Food, Eligibility and Traffic Committees have discussed various points regarding the event.
