Clearance has been received for setting up an international level shooting range next to the newly constructed multi-purpose indoor stadium. Clearance was provided by the university for setting up the shooting range at an estimated expense of Rs 10 Lakh.

This will be the second shooting range in Udaipur. BN University already hosts a shooting range. The shooting range will be completely sound proof and will have 12 lanes. There will be a digital score board to display the scores of each shooter. 12 shooters will be able to shoot simultaneously. There will be audience seating arrangement on all sides of the target area of the range.

With the clearance in hand, if all goes as per plan, the shooting range should be completed by year end. With the completion of shooting range, MLSU will now be able to hold national and international shooting competitions.

MLSU has also sent a proposal for setting up a synthetic athletics track to the sports ministry. The estimated cost for this synthetic athletics track is Rs 8 Crores.
