June 4, 2025 - IPL 2025 has ended. A new champion has been crowned in the history of the tournament. Explosive performances were seen throughout the season. While uncapped players showed their talent, senior players also performed well.

Talking about the Orange Cap list, Gujarat Titans opener Sai Sudharsan finished at the top. He played 15 matches in the tournament and scored a total of 759 runs. His runs included one century and six half-centuries. During this time, his strike rate was 156.17 and his average was 54.21.

Mumbai Indians’ veteran batsman Suryakumar Yadav finished second on the Orange Cap chart. He scored 717 runs in 16 matches, including five half-centuries. Surya maintained a strike rate of 167.91 and an average of 65.18. He became the first player for the Mumbai Indians to score more than 700 runs in a single season.

Prasidh Claims Purple Cap

Gujarat Titans’ fast bowler Prasidh Krishna won the Purple Cap. He took 25 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 8.27. In one match, he claimed a four-wicket haul. His strong season also earned him a spot on India’s England tour squad. Chennai Super Kings’ young spinner Noor Ahmed ranked second on the Purple Cap chart. He took 24 wickets in 14 matches with an economy of 8.16.
